Bala Wooodlands Rules for 2008
1. No walk-ins. Prior reservation required.
2. No transient camping. Long term camping only.
3. Minimum stay is 14 nights.
4. Front gate will be locked at all times. Each licensee will be responsible for locking the gate on their entrance and exit of the park.
5. Front gate is locked 24 hours a day.
6. Gate key deposit is $50.00 which will be returned at the end of the licensee’s stay.
7. The campground will operate on a self serve basis with very limited service amenities. Each licensee is responsible for the maintenance of their own site, for example: grass cutting,
weeding etc. and transportation of black water to the dump station.
8. Check out time is 1:00 p.m. There will be a ½ daily rate charged after 1:00 p.m. with
departure by 7:00 p.m. Please inform the office when you are checking out.
9. Only 2 cars permitted on each site.
10. The waterfront is unsupervised. Use at your own risk.
11. No ATV’s, no exception.
12. No fireworks or explosives permitted.
13. Maximum of 2 adults and children under 14 per site or guest fee will apply.
14. All daily visitors are to be out of the park by 11:00 p.m., or they must pay the overnight fee.
15. Adults are responsible for the actions and safety or their children and guests.
16. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times except when on your own site, and must not be left unattended. Pets are not allowed on the beach area at any time. Owners are expected to clean after their pets.
17. Obey posted camp speed limit.
18. All campfires and timings must conform to the Muskoka Lakes Township rules and regulations.
19. Firewood may be purchased at the office.
20. Cutting, nailing or defacing trees in the Park is prohibited.
21. Noisy parties, profane language and excessive drinking will not be tolerated. Alcoholic beverages must only be consumed on your site.
22. Washrooms may be closed daily for cleaning. We apologize for any inconvenience.
23. Deposit garbage in container located in the park.
24. All facilities are used at your own risk. We will not be responsible for damages, injury or loss by accident, theft or fire to either property or individuals. We reserve the right to cancel your park permit for detrimental conduct or violation of park rules.
25. Please report any conditions needing our attention.
26. THESE RULES MAY BE AMENDED BY THE PARK MANAGER WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE.
